I just made a deal on a 2024 Creo 2 expert and am fairly stoked. I already own a Liv Thrive + EX, which is a spectacular bike. It is a tank for sure, spectacular as a grocery runner and commuter, and while easily taking me through the hills where we ride, it has loads of resistance going down...

Hi folks. I was waylaid a couple of years due to illness. I just updated the Ride Control app on my phone and tried to log in, but it no longer recognizes my email address (not « valid »). Yes, it is connected. I do not recall seeing the circumference prompt, but will go back in to see. It was displaying accurate speeds while riding, (but not average speed calculated at the end). I assumed it got distance from either the bike or gps. Good to know. I also assume the companion app...

I am so pleased to have the Giant Smart Charger. My LBS didn’t know its « charge to 60% » feature, or how it changes its charging after a certain number of cycles. I’m very happy not to have to use timers etc. i can just press a button & it will stop charging at 60%.

Yep. Makes perfect sense. Also I really fall behind on on the downhills with my Thrive tank. A friend on her Trek + ALR just flies like a normal road bike, while I pedal hard to just keep up to their coasting. Makes me want to ride my normal bike to fly downhill….my favourite part of riding.

That is a tale of fortune & misfortune for sure. I think I’ll get a Wahoo eventually since My heart rate monitor and trainer are Wahoo. For now, I’ll live without knowing my heart rate. Otherwise I’m very pleased with the display on my Thrive, and everything else. Thanks for your input. M

That is horrid that the rain killed the EVO. Their advertising literally says, « rain or shine ».
