Will 700x47c Pathfinder Pro 2Bliss Ready tyres fit on a Turbo Vado SL 5?

I’ve been gone awile, skiing in the Methow. But this week, I can smell Spring in the air. I’ve got 47mm Tracer Pros on my 2023 Vado SL 5.0. The clearances are a bit tight, 3-4mm at the fork. I’ve only had trouble once, in some peanut butter mud, but then, it stopped everyone.

    Vado SL2 5.0 Specification

In reading the spec’ for the new alloy Vado SL2 5.0 I noticed that the numbers in the ‘Geometry’ tab are essentially the same for both the SL2 5.0 alloy and the 6.0 Carbon ( for example: head tube angle @ 69). Under the ‘Technical Specification’ tab, however, both the frame and fork are listed...

Motor tuning modes in new Specialized app

Thanks so much, Superdad. These new links help answer my question: Presets If you would like to customize the Motor Power and Ease settings for each mode based on your preference, then this will be saved as your custom settings outside of the 3 default presets (think of it as a 4th preset that...

Motor tuning modes in new Specialized app

The new Specialized app provides for three tuning modes: Universal. Battery Friendly, and Racing. I would like to add additional tuning modes to fine tune the selection to my needs. I cannot find an option to add additional modes. There appears to be a “+” plus sign in the old Mission Control...

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

Spec Tracer Pros @ 47mm Tires was a big question for me when I decided on the Vado SL. My current e-bike was a conversion with a rear hub motor. The biggest tire I could fit was 40mm, and I’ve been lusting after my wife’s 47s. I’d seen a thread somewhere about running Schwabe’s @ 50mm on the...

    Turbo Vado SL questions

It’s a difficult balance. As a driver, bright blinkys can be blinding. As a rider, I want to be noticed.

    Turbo Vado SL questions

Actually, I agree about really bright blinkys in front, but I do like them in the rear.

    Turbo Vado SL questions

Sorry to confuse; my taillight is still the stock Vado spec, jus’ mounted to a different seat without changing the seat post or rewiring the taillight.

    Turbo Vado SL questions

I never detached the rear light from the bike. I only unscrewed it from the seat, removed the Spec seat and installed the Seele Royal Respiro Saddle. Then screwed the light to the DYI wooden shim (painted black) and Then screwed the shim to the plastic underside of the saddle with a #10 pan...

    Turbo Vado SL questions

I bought a Vado SL 5.0 in Dec for $3750 from my LBS. I was looking for a flat bar gravel bike for which the Vado SL is ideal. The future shock is a wonderful addition for washboard gravel. I replaced the seat, bars, tires, and pedals. I put on Specislized Tracer Pros @ 47mm. Adequate clearance...

Synching new Specialized app to Apple Health

thanks for your reply, fooferdoggie. Here’s a coupla of my screenshots. The First shows the data the Specialized app adds to the Apple Fitness app. It is limited and looks identical to yours from Strava. (I can’t scroll down the Garmin image so I can’t see what is included, ie map, splits, or...

Synching new Specialized app to Apple Health

I recorded my first rise with ‘Evado’, a Vado SL 5.0 the e-bike I’ve been riding for the Past two years is a hybrid conversion that did not sync with Apple Health on my iPhone so when I rode I just used the cycling workout on my Apple Watch. This has yielded useful data, primarily distance...
