    Swapped my 44T chainring for a 52T

Ohh no I hadn't seen that thanks. My bike was purchased in April 2019. The motor is pretty quiet though so I'm guessing it's still the nylon gear. I agree with Deafcat, perhaps it's that one-way clutch that might be the weak point. Still though, because the bike will pull a wheelie from a...

    Swapped my 44T chainring for a 52T

Yeah, I've been concerned about overloading the motor with the larger chainring. I think though the low gears still have an extremely low ratio. My sense is that the danger is when I have to come to an emergency stop and have forgotten to change down. Then as I start to pedal the bike is...

    Swapped my 44T chainring for a 52T

Also, here is a photo of the three different chainrings laid out. Photo link The only issue I have now is keeping the chain grime off my pants.

    Swapped my 44T chainring for a 52T

Also, here is a great bike gear calculator that will let you compare two setups. http://ritzelrechner.de/?GR=DERS&KB=44&RZ=11,13,15,17,19,21,24,28,32,37,42&UF=2312&TF=75&SL=3.5&UN=MPH&DV=ratio&GR2=DERS&KB2=55&RZ2=11,13,15,17,19,21,24,28,32,37,42&UF2=2312 Also, here are the calculations for...

    Swapped my 44T chainring for a 52T

I too have a Juggernaut Ultra and I also upgraded from a T44 to a T52, and then to a T58. I'm using my bike exclusively for commuting and I found the stock T44 chainring to be silly. With the T44 I would only ever use the highest gear. The T52 was a huge improvement as it allowed me to use a...

    Fatty street tire options

Woohhh!!! That's a cool project!!! That looks like it will be an absolute blast! Can't say I'm a fan of the flame tread pattern, but hopefully, you'll get enough interest to help make your order!

Bafang Ultra - Display Screen Questions

I have a Bafang Ultra bike and I've noticed there is a Calorie indicator. Does anyone have any idea what this is displaying? Is this the number of Calories that the motor has input? Or is this the number of Calories that you've burned up? Also, my clock seems to run about 4-5 minutes fast /...

    Fatty street tire options

Hey thanks for the pictures! Looks like there is very little sidewall loss with the 3.5" tires. I definitely want some street tires soon!

    Fatty street tire options

Thanks for sharing Rich! I'm currently running 26"x4" I wonder how a 26"x3" tire would compare. It would probably feel sportier would be my guess. I really like the isolated ride that my big cushy fat tires give me.

Curious on battery mileage on some of these bafang ultra bikes

I have a very flat 16-mile commute each way. I have the 16ah 48V battery and a Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra full suspension fat tire bike with the crank gear upgraded from a 44 tooth to a 58 tooth sprocket. I ride mostly on assist level 4 or 5 and I go fast. Like I average about 20mph and...

    Fatty street tire options

I have a fat tire bike that I'm street commuting on and I'd love to swap out the loud knobby tires for a nice smooth street tire. Fatty street tires seem to be a bit hard to come by so I was hoping to assemble the definitive list of fat street tire options. It would be great if people could...

    Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra 1000 Review

Hello TForan, would you please share what brand of Fat street tires you have, and where you got them / price? I street commute on my Juggernaut Ultra and the knobby tires are so loud. I'd really love to switch to street tires but I can't seem to find them anywhere!

Juggernaut Ultra FS - Where to mount a bottle cage?

Hello Vincent, That does look like it works out well thanks. I’ve actually been really happy with the cloth sack handle bar jobbie that I bought. It’s has side pockets that a great for items like my garage remote. Is that a bag you have mounted underneath your rack? That looks like a great...

What kind of loctite should I use on my suspension bolts?

Copy that, thanks for the advice everyone, I'll go with blue. Also, I'm sure that's a great tip to avoid any plastic. Will do!

What kind of loctite should I use on my suspension bolts?

It was this bolt here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ygsp4kC-fRsO-LaIENwGLCTF75frEx_0 It has a burner RCP-2S shock on the rear and RST Guide forks. Really no loctite?!?! I'm so surprised to hear that. I guess they just forgot to tighten this bolt then.
