Michigan has some great rides! One of my favorites is the Kal-Haven Trail. Starts in Kalamazoo and goes to South Haven, a beautiful small town on the shore of Lake Michigan.
I am also in Michigan but a little North in Grand Blanc. I have been trying to find other riders to organize rides. Can’t do this week, but maybe plan for some future dates.
The Metro manual says 42.1 volts is 20% charge. On my last Metro+ ride I got down to 42 volts so I headed for home. Much to my surprise, the controller shut down shortly thereafter.
I easily get 50-60 miles on mostly flat paved trails. Now I just don’t push it when the voltage gets into the 42’s.
Hello, I see that you are a fellow Metro+ owner. I live in Michigan and now have around 300 miles on my new Metro. I love the bike, the only small issue I am having is a persistent squealing rear brake pad. Pretty minor, they say it will break in, we will see.
I ride mainly on paved surfaces...
Love my Metro+. Decided on this over the CCS so I didn’t have to wait. About 6 ft and 175 and get about 55 miles on paved mostly flat roads. Mostly PAS level 1-3 and cruise around 15 mph. Pretty easy to get to 25.
Hey Kurt, couldn't agree with you more. I got my Magnum Metro + in November and was able to get a few rides in before winter took over in Michigan. As long as the roads and paths are mostly dry, I am riding even if it is cold. This is my first ebike and I love it. Using mostly level 2-3 to...
I also have this problem with my new Metro+. I don't like the idea of having to blow dust out of the port. I am thinking of finding an alternative plastic plug that fits. Or what about getting another electrical connector and using it as the cover. The battery is too expensive to leave an open port.
