    Creo 2 Carbon Cranks

They will be much lighter than alloy ones, mine were 270g v 180g a side from memory. They spin up much quicker I find

    "eBike Sensor Battery Critical"

It will come up at time to time, but look at it this way. If the bike has an issue it will tell you on the TCU. Both Garmin and Wahoo give this message, ignore it.

    Creo 2 Carbon Cranks

The carbon cranks are a fair bit lighter than the alloy ones. in the 175mm the alloy ones were 280g and the carbon ones about 170g. Although 100 odd grams a side does not sound much, done as a percentage, this is roughly a 65% drop on rotational mass. The carbon cranks do spin up quicker for...

Battery Tech and weights Creo 2 / Vado SL2

If it uses the same cells, it will 14 or 15 extra 18650. The batteries are 18mm wide 65mm long (1865 and the o means cyclinder). The 320w is arranged in welded packs of 9 with some odd ones to the side of the BMS. so I am also expecting wider

Battery Tech and weights Creo 2 / Vado SL2

Yes, I assumed that would be the case, but not see a picture to confirm. The 320w battery is 40cm long, so there is not much space left for a longer battery !!

Battery Tech and weights Creo 2 / Vado SL2

I was looking around to see if I could see a weight and size on the Vado 2 SL 504w battery, wondering if this would fit into a Creo 2 and what the weight penalty would be. It ended up leading me down a battery rabbit hole of confusing figures. The Creo uses Samsung 35e 18650 cells. there are...

    Creo 2 Carbon Cranks

I was using these as an example of what you are looking for, 2 separate arms with the DUB / BB30 interface to fit on to the motor spindle. I was not going to spend £500 on cranks when I could do the same for £120. My cheap carbon BB30's have been flawless for the last 1000 miles. The SRAM...

    Creo 2 Carbon Cranks

https://www.tradeinn.com/bikeinn/en/specialized-levo-carbon-crank/138711608/p These are just the carbon crank arms for the Levo 2, but share the same fitment as the Creo 2. DUB refers to the spindle size (28.9mm I think). When looking for cranks, you must have 2 arms with no spindle...

    Creo 2 Carbon Cranks

The older BB30 has a bolt on the non drive side that states do not remove but once this is removed it splits into the spindle and separate arms. The later DUB cranks do not have this bolt and the spindle is bonded into place. SRAM charge an eye watering amount for the carbon DUB crank arms...

    Creo 2 Carbon Cranks

The link is not working for me, but with new SRAM, you need the arms only. With the old BB30, it was possible to remove the arms as separate and therefore fit a Creo 2. The newer cranks have a fixed spindle that can't be removed, which will not fit the Creo 2.

    Volabike Range Extender

No, speed settings are held in TCU. The old firmware restricts the available power to draw on, as the Creo 2 is more powerful and needs more. The BMS (battery management system) will only allow a certain draw unless the firmware is updated

Battery Range Experience for Specialized E-Bikes

I do run both my Creo 1 and 2 in unassisted mode. My bike is subject to the 25kph assist limit, so the motor is not used over those speeds. Both my Creo's were under 13kg, the lighter making it easier to use unassisted. Both Creo's if can 100 miles out of the Eco setting. My Creo 2 in on 20...

    Volabike Range Extender

For my Creo 1, I purchased 4 main batteries off Ebay as untested. 3 were good and I have 1 dead one. I was able to swap all these batteries into my Creo 1 with no firmware update needed and the live ones all worked well. I can do a battery swap in about 10 mins and once done a few times, it...

    Creo 1 wheel upgrade questions.

I used MTB boost wheels. The back is the same size at 12 x 148mm. The front is 15 x 110, so I used a 15 to 12mm reducer sleeve to fit Creo 1. I did 6000 miles on these with zero issues. I got a set of Newmen Advanced that only weighed 1350g for the pair and they were excellent.

    Volabike Range Extender

I did look into these previously. The firmware is only for the SL1.1 and will not work fully with Creo 2. Similar to the existing Specialized RE's if the firmware is not up to date, it will only offer reduced power on the Creo 2. The Creo 1 does not have this issue. The cost was quite off...
