    Firmware update for charging limit

I Just had a computer chat with Specialized. I have a Turbo Creo SL Expert EVO purchased in 2/21so it has the older TCU. I was informed if the bike gets the latest software (released a few weeks ago) and you are on the latest rev of the MC app it will work. Here is part of the chat. I put...

    Battery charge cycle

I asked Specialized that exact question about my Creo and here is the answer I received. I have no idea of applies to other bikes: From: [email protected] <[email protected]> on behalf of Taylor <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, March 25, 2021 9:35:45 AM To: [email protected]...

    Coin Battery

I plan on doing a bit more testing with the battery out and will do a better job of documenting the results. Anyway just like my smoke alarms I will change the coin battery on some annual schedule just to avoid any issues.

    Coin Battery

Hey Stefan; Don't take away all our fun. That's not fair. Too cold and rainy to ride here so we need other things to do.........Not worried about stuff just curious.....😎 Good to know how things work so when they don't we understand them. But you know that!

    Coin Battery

So, the common battery is a 2032 and the Creo uses a 1620 battery of which I have some about to be delivered. Cheap enough on Amazon or Ebay. By the way it is almost impossible to remove the battery. The manual states to use tweezers but it is impossible to retrieve it. As soon as the tweezers...

    Coin Battery

Here is what Specialized said. Not much help. Not looking to fix my problem, I think I took care of that just wanted to know about the battery. I am curious if it dies on me while on a ride what that means. Might just be a good idea to change it once a year. "Hey, Thank you for reaching out...

    Coin Battery

Hey Stefan; Thanks for the reply. Just for clarification the "TCD" is a small add on computer the "TCU" or "Display Interface" is the integral part of the bike. Correct?

    Coin Battery

I have a 2021 Turbo Creo SL Expert EVO. I was wondering if anyone can inform me as to the purpose of the 1620 coin battery in the TCU. I am having some trouble with the bike and I noticed that when I removed the battery the bike still turned on and the the different modes operated normally. Is...

I found the Di2 battery on my Creo SL Expert

Mine didn't come all the way out either. As stated just take your time. My battery had several ty wraps around it and I was abe to pull it out most of the way and hold the ty wraps while I connected the WU111. I figure that was the reason the Specialized put them there. So they could hold the...

    Specialized touch up paint?

Send Specialized an e-mail and ask for the number of the paint that is your bicycle. I imagine it is just like a car. Maybe I have too much imagination.:D

    Interesting TCU Problem

I will try to keep it short. My wife and I have identical new Creo's, Expert EVO. I purchased a Bryton 750 bicycle computer. (nice computer for the $$). I purchased the bundle with Speed, Cadence and HR. For some reason when I ride and am using the speed sensor for my speed source it is...

    Shimano DI2

So, brand new Creo Turbo Expert EVO with DI2 shifting. I cannot get the DI2 info on my Ryder 750 headset. (it will not locate a sensor) Do I have to install a Dfly unit to get this info or is that capability already engineered into this version of DI2 and I am doing something wrong? Thanks
