Hi, really great to meet you!

I'm Cari, a super proud Wife to The Man (commonly referred to as my Better Half) who has just began my own e-bike journey after The Man convinced me (finally!) to convert my cheapie mountain bike into an e-bike after he tried a home conversion friends of ours completed on their bikes a few years ago.

Back then I was very skeptical as our friends had done a bit of a dodgy conversion, and were pretty confident their conversions weren't street legal. Over the past few months though, with changes in an ongoing health issue rearing up, I'd started considering the options we could do with my bike; if it meant I could get out and about on my own and enjoy riding again then bring it on!

After doing oodles of research, The Man and I jumped in feet first and as of today, we completed converting a Cruiser, single speed bike into my very own e-bike. We're both quite chuffed with ourselves to be honest. My original bike is still available to ride, just with peddle assist, which is perfect for The Man to use so we can now enjoy riding together. He's that chuffed he's already talking about doing up an e-bike for himself as well!

That's pretty much a wrap....here's to some amazing rides and experiences ahead for each of us. Now if only I can stop humming "Bicycle Race" by Queen every time I head to my bike. Nahh, too much fun to be had.
