Absolutely, I think his concern is the wattage output while pedaling never goes above 300 watts regardless of how fast or hard he pedals resulting in little assist. Kind of weird. I was unable to get my bike out today to see what mine is doing under those circumstances.

I've seen mine go up to full wattage especially on hills. Typical riding its minimal with pedal assist but if I'm pedaling up a hill it will go to full wattage.

Weird, yeah the newer model display old shows 31mph compared to other display of 32. I don't think there is a difference to be honest, just programmed differently. The bike doesn't hit 31 or 32 by itself regardless lol. Bummer, hope it gets situated soon man!

There are threads on here that walk you through step by step but I'll save you the hassle. Press the up and down along with power until you see OK on the screen then let go and press the up and down again until settings come up, you should now have access to advanced settings.
