This Faraday Cortland Electric Bike (E-bike) was purchased new in 2018 for a summer commute to a local camp (18 hilly round trip miles). It excelled at that purpose but is no longer needed.
From Faraday:
"- 8-Speed Shimano Alfine internally geared hub + carbon fiber belt
- Hydraulic disc brakes...
I'm selling my Magnum Metro+, it has 3715 miles. The tires are in good shape and I just installed a new chain, freewheel, and front brake pads. Based on recent rides, I would say the 48 volt, 13 amp hour battery has about 80% of its original capacity. I normally only charge it to 80% and...
My bike needed some other work so I had the LBS bleed the brakes while they had it. That cleared it up for me. Hoping someone chimes in with a better solution as this will most likely happen again...
Has the bike been upside down or placed where the caliper is above the reservoir? Perhaps, the system need to be bled after being upside down. This happened to my ebike after a trail side repair to a flat (it wasn't upside down but laying on its side with the reservoir lower than the caliper...
There's not a lot of data on the Carbo X in regards to users and how well it has held up. If you do get one, put a ride report on the forum after some miles to let folks know how its holding up.
One other option is the Luna Folding Ebike, which is a converted Mosso folder. It comes in at 38...
Nice plane! Did you build it? I got my sport pilot's license years ago and had dreams of building something but life got in the way. Maybe some day.
I'd also suggest the Gocycle GX. Or perhaps the United City Ebike (https://united-city-bikes.com/eng/). It's still on Indigogo but folks have...
It did have pedals, although I still wouldn't call it an ebike.
Forbes reported it as a Swind EB-01:

Here's a pic:
Any data to back that up? In this article, they actually test for frictional losses: https://www.cyclingabout.com/belt-drivetrain-efficiency-lab-testing/
Here's the summary:
"Summary
This lab test has determined that chains are between 0.3% and 1.0% more efficient at low power outputs (under...
You could certainly build some sort of custom ramp.
How about a hitch mounted rear rack with a ramp?
The one pictured is a Kuat NV 2.0 with ramp accessory. Since it's hitch mounted, you could easily buy a hitch drop down receiver to lower the rack height:
I guess other options would...
We purchaed our daughter an ebike at 14 so she could commute to school and summer camp where she is a camp counselor. She has loved it! And we often ride together for her commutes or just for fun on the weekend. We picked her's out for primarily road use so a much different need than yours...
My Magnum Metro+, which also uses a Das kit system, exhibits the same reluctance to resume PAS after a downhill. I've been using the throttle until the PAS kicks in but I'll try the faster cadence pedaling trick.
