Pedaluma, while I agree 100%, can we please just have this thread be a collection of jokes, cartoons, puns, and fun things? A place of respite from the degeneration of human society.

I beg to disagree on the wonderfulness of palm trees. They provide almost no shade, no food (except some might provide coconuts or dates, if you are lucky), not much habitat for wildlife, and little in the way of regenerative debris (like fallen leaves) to enhance soil. They don't even provide...

Don't be such a humbug! 😄 He just sings as he puts together a meal for his dog -- he doesn't just dump some kibbles in the bowl and stand there for 10 minutes praying. Dogs love to be made to wait for their treats and meals. You must be a cat person 😄

That doesn't really show that they "hate vegetarians". But why spend money at a chain, a franchise anyway? Only patronize real, individually owned, independent businesses. Real food, from real people.

No, my lot was solid beautiful forest. But remember 400 years ago, there were only the native tribes here and they did not chop down vast swathes of forest. That only happened here from about the 1870s. My particular land was last logged in 1952. And I did have to clear an opening in the forest...
