Is it law, or a marketing decision by corporations? I just finished reading Inshittification by Cory Doctorow. I had no idea how in cahoots major tech corporations are, and how they rig the systems by which we access the internet and communications.

Very strange sport wherein you spend most of your time looking at the derrière of the rider in front of you when you are not looking anxiously back at whoever is looking at yours.

Stage 4 of the Tour de France this year is our neck of the Pyrénéen woods, so to speak. It skirts south of our town, Mirepoix, but we have been on most of the roads it will go on -- by car, mind you! Lovely biking in this area...
