    How is R1U after-sale support?

I thought it was pretty good, but I received my (wife's) bike in January of last year, so just before COVID hit. Search for my other posts and replies for my thoughts. I posted a 1,000 mile review too that summarizes the after-sale support I received.

Replacing front skewer size for 700 series.

This is what I bought for my wife's 700 and it fit just fine, if I recall correctly.

    Cheaper Shimano Derailleur on LMT’D.

The Deore M591 sits more inboard on the bike, and the cable enters the derailleur from a different point (closer to the top I think), so the cable between the frame and the derailleur doesn't need to be so long. I cut a little out of the housing that runs between the derailleur and the frame. If...

    Cheaper Shimano Derailleur on LMT’D.

"One more thing; you don't need an inline barrel adjuster, I was wrong about that. There should be an adjuster on the handlebar shifter. You will need to cut the shifter cable and housing at the derailleur, and there you will need a housing end cap. If you don't have any, send me a PM and I can...

    The Shimano manual Acera.

If you instead replace the Acera derailleur with the 591 derailleur as I did, then your shortened cable length might be OK, as I had to trim the cable when I installed this new better derailleur. M591SGS LongCage 9Sp RRDer Shimano MTB Rear Derailleur

    fender mud flap extensions

I believe I got the 650x65 size. For the rear, I had to drill holes into the fender. For the front, I used the holes and hardware for the fender.

    fender mud flap extensions

It was a year ago, and my receipt just says 650 Beast. I can try to measure them later.

https://ridepdw.com/collections/fenders/products/polyurethane-mudflap-set Portland Design Works mud flaps. I bought the 650 Beast size (this was a year ago; looks like they have different designations for the sizes now, so consider that carefully). Also, they didn't include the hardware as...

    1,000-Mile review of 700 ST

Sorry, I can't help you. One idea might be to use the front rim on the rear wheel, and replace the front rim with either the one you bought or one that has the right-sized spoke holes. Not sure if the spoke holes can be safely drilled out to a larger diameter, or if you can get nipples that fit...

    1,000-Mile review of 700 ST

My wife's Ride1Up 700 ST recently turned 1,000 miles on the odometer, so I’d thought I’d post a long-term review. She commutes to work with it, about 9 miles round trip, through the mild hills of Atlanta with one steep hill (I've seen the display show a max speed of 32 mph!). Garage-kept at...

    Cheaper Shimano Derailleur on LMT’D.

The Deore is a "straight" pull as you call it; that is one of its advantages. It makes the derailleur sit closer to the wheel and thus it sticks out less so it's more protected. You'll need to trim a couple inches off the cable and housing (do not cut the cable and the housing to the same...

What does MECH mean in bike terms?

If it's reference to the shifting system, it could be referring to a mechanically-shifted (by cable) system, as opposed to a fancy electronically shifted system (see SRAM eTap or Shimano Di2 systems).

    Why no action here?

Did you see the video on Ride1Up's website about the Error 25 code? The problem on mine was the magnet sensor needed to be adjusted, and then the magnets came unglued and I just glued them back in place.

Sure, no problem, Bikeman. One more thing; you don't need an inline barrel adjuster, I was wrong about that. There should be an adjuster on the handlebar shifter.
