Been rotating a crank for 40 years, but each decade leads to a different device attached to the crank. Last year I bought a Catrike 559 with alfine 8 on the 26" rear wheel. I am now wanting to add an electric drive, But could use some advice on which components to keep, and which to ditch. The alfine on the 26" wheel was costly, but I think their utility will be lost anyway if I add electric? Any suggestions, please? Anyone need a 26" with an Alfine?
