Don't know if the carbon bars reduce vibration, though I would guess they do. In my case, I needed to reduce the H-bar width to 40 cm, and drop the bars a centimeter lower (than the hover bars), so switching them out made sense, since the shop wasn't going to charge labor. Vibration and weight...

Thanks Avalanche. Actually the combination of stiffness and lightweight (along with some shock and vibration absorption) is what I like about CF frames (I do a lot of climbing). What did you think of the Skitch's motor and drivetrain?

I hear you. All my road bikes are carbon fiber and I love the ride and feel of a quality CF frame. And I think an SL 1.1 motor would be fine for me. I've read however that the SL 1.2 and Fazua motors are a lot quieter, and I must admit that sounds rather appealing.

WOW Nub, I found that hard to follow and I have a science degree (albeit a 46 year old bachelors). A few Vado SL 5's have shown up on local shop websites - all at retail price. No Skitch flat bar bikes yet. Wondering if the Vado SL's will go on sale.
