I'm not getting much mileage from my chains. Is anyone else experiencing this problem with the Frey Ex? The most I'm getting is 1,000 miles.

Do you now require a longer chain with more links due to a larger chainring? I went from a 40t to a 46t and my bike mechanic had told me that a longer chain is now required? Has anyone else run into this problem?

I don't know if a 52V battery that will fit this frame. I do however feel more secure knowing that the Frey Ex has an additional battery attached to the frame. I've tried riding with only the one battery and have to limit the amount of throttle and distance that I use. With 2 batteries being...

I had to change my chain and cassette after 1600km. I guess I was using the throttle a little too much. This bike really goes through chains and cogs quickly.

Did you try a 48T?

Were you able to keep the chain guard on with a 46T? I would think that it would get in the way. With the narrow wide chain, I feel there would be no need to have a chain guard.

No. But in the case of any sort of accident or minor infraction the authorities could check.

Just curious to how you would get around riding these Frey bikes on the street. I understand that government restrictions prohibit 1000 watt motors for commuting purposes. I also understand that the Frey CC was made for commuting. How do they get around this in the UK, Canada or the US?

I received my Frey Ex last week and and I'm wondering if there is a hub spacer missing on the back hub next to the derailleur. I know the front wheel came with two spacers but i only see one on the back. Would you happen to know?
