    Volt Meter/ sorry 48 volt x 14AH battery

You can't tell much by just looking at the voltage of a battery. As you ride and put a load on the battery, the voltage will drop, depending on how great the load is. That's why most bikes use the sliding bar scale to tell you relatively how much charge is left in the battery

    Can anybody tell me ?

Just a heads up - This is the forum for new members to introduce themselves and to show off their bikes Technical questions would be better if asked in another forum because not that many people read this Intro forum, so the eyes of the people with the knowledge to help you may never see your...

    Not my first

. . . and usually everyone here says to buy from your LBS so you'll have support when you have problems - You go back to the shop you bought from for warranty repairs. You paid more because you did that, but now you have the same lack of support you would have had if you'd bought online and...

Google 'Rail Trails Near Me' wherever you happen to be and you'll find lots of places to ride Don

    Hi from The Hamptons, NY

You will get as much (or as little) cardio workout on your eBike as you like. I'm past 70 also and I usually ride with some amount of pedal assist - More on the uphill portions and less on level ground, but I am actively pedaling all the time, just not as hard as I would be on a 'normal' bike...

    Hi from The Hamptons, NY

There is nothing at all flimsy about the folding mechanism on the Lectric bikes. The box frame is 4 inches by 2 at the folding point (probably more like 5 by 2 for the step thru models) and it's absolutely rigid - Very well done. If you don't need a folding bike, then it makes sense to buy...

New man on the block. Could use some advice

That one is very well worn. If the rest of the cassette looks half as bad, I'd toss all of it and go with new - Your chains will last lots longer Don

New Poster - question about motor upgrade

Question - Are you using the throttle when you're maxxed out at 11 mph, or are you using PAS. If so, what PAS setting? On some bikes, PAS limits the current and only the throttle will give you maximum amps to the motor Don

New Poster - question about motor upgrade

You would think a 350 watt hub motor turning such a small wheel would have plenty of power, so maybe it is the controller??? Don

New Poster - question about motor upgrade

Honestly, I don't know - The consensus here appears to be that your 350 watt motor can make use of more than the 750 watts of power your controller can provide and that's where your controller maxxes out. It will be interesting to see which improves your power most - A more powerful...

    Hi from The Hamptons, NY

In the Hamptons, both those guys would be sharing space under the bridge! 🤣 Don

New Poster - question about motor upgrade

16 amps @ 48 volts is already 750 watts - I would think you'd see a bigger improvement by changing the hub motor from 350 watts to 500 than by changing the controller from 16 amps to 20. In this case, the motor seems to be the weak link in the chain . . . . and then the battery Don

    Satori suspension seatposts

When did the new one come out? There's a pretty good YouTube review dated February 2021. Most posts have a screw adjustment for rider weight Don

    Hi from Toronto Canada

Welcome! You might want to look at changing out the controller for a higher amperage one if you're looking for better performance . . . . and then maybe change to a higher amperage battery shortly after Don

    Hi from The Hamptons, NY

I was having problems understanding what a 'Street Peddler' was doing living in the Hamptons in the first place - Maybe under a bridge somewhere? Talk about two terms not usually used in the same sentence! 🤔 Now, I think I may have figured it out - He's probably not really a 'Street...
