Very nice list of components. Most of us have switched to Wolf Tooth (NA) or Gabaruk (Euro) chain rings to avoid chain drops. I don't even have a chain keeper on my Creo 1 with a similar SRAM setup. You can save a bit on chains by going to the X01 instead of XX1. It has the same hard...
The GRX brake calipers are not compatible with SRAM. SRAM uses DOT 5.1 brake fluid and Shimano uses mineral oil brake fluid. No cross contamination is allowed and the brake lines need to be changed. You might be able to keep the rotors. Depending on how you buy the axs levers they may only...
You have to be a little more specific about what you are changing from what to what. Changing from Shimano to SRAM as in the quoted post requires new levers and brakes.
I seat the tire first then add sealant. I've tried various injectors that always clog and spew sealant. I currently use a Straz Components sealant funnel and add sealant 30 ml/ 1 oz at a time with a dip stick to push fibers through. I check my rear tire sealant about every three weeks and the...
I edited my post but I use a Makita battery air pump with the booster. I checked the prices of the Joe Blow Booster after I posted. I think the Airshot is the cheapest way to go if you already have a tire pump..
Get a Schwalbe Tire Booster or the Airshot which is the original brand. There is also the Topeak Joe Blow Booster tire pump. I use the Tire Booster with a Makita electric pump. I do have a compressor but generally if you need the compressor something is not fitting right. Edit 2. Don't do...
There are a couple of Specialized support articles that explain. Home > Resources > All About Turbo > Turbo Super Light (SL) System > Powering Your Ride: Battery Safety, Longevity & Responsibility and Home > Resources > All About Turbo > Turbo Super Light (SL) System > Turbo SL System: Battery...
The Specialized Mahle drive shaft is about 34mm diameter vs a SRAM DUB crank axle at 28.99mm. The bearings are correspondingly larger which why we don't normally have any bottom bracket issues for the life of the motor.
Yes the Creo 1 is road boost with 12 x 148mm Centerlock. It came with Shimano but I have since converted to SRAM with a XD driver. Centerlock is not required as you can also use a six bolt sensor although some third party magnets may not work. See the All About Turbo section article...
Did you try to charge the Mastermind TCU with a USB C? A MM TCU bicycle will not start if the TCU charge is too low. Normal operation is the TCU is charged with the main battery but if it's been sitting it for months may need a boost. If you have a classic TCU, it with a coin cell battery...
My Creo 1 has wheels built with a gravel 32H G540 rim and 350 hub with over 15000 miles. They are still as true as when they were new. My Creo came with oem Roval carbon wheels but I exceed their load rating so I never used them and sold to pay for the new wheels. Not worrying about wheels is...
Duplicate post in this thread. The 2.3 factor was marketing based on the motor. The full power motors are "4x you". The first SL was "1.8x you" etc. The support site has general Turbo section and bicycle specific sections. Generally the common information is in the General Turbo Knowlege...
The 2.3 factor was marketing based on the motor. The full power motors are "4x you". The first SL was "1.8x you" etc. The link still works but it's was assuming the inquiry was from a French region. The support site has general Turbo section and bicycle specific sections. Generally the common...
The only thing I dislike about SRAM brakes is they use DOT 5.1 or 4 brake fluid vs Shimano with mineral oil. The newest SRAM mountain bike brake models are using mineral oil.
