I think they are the oldest e-bike company, with not the most glamorous products but diffidently very solid and good products. I would say a like Subaru. You get a great value for your money and enjoy their products but it's not a BMW.

You will need the 40 or 44 cm frame. I got 40 and I am 5'8" and I feel it's right on the edge. I prefer a shorter, upright position so for me it works out but if you prefer more stretched out go for 44.

Not really, the perception of the e-bike is still a negative one. Most of them feel that if they will switch to e-bike they will lose their level of fitness. I strongly disagree, you don't have use high level of assist and still keep a high level of fitness.

Glad to hear it. I just did another amazing ride today. 3500ft climbing. All friends on regular bikes couldn't take the steep climbs. SDURO ate it for breakfast. I was so happy. After 3 hour ride I was at 40% battery. Love Yamaha Motor, Love the bike.
