Juiced RCS vs Aventon Aventure I have both now

I have a CCX and my wife has the Aventon Level and I feel the same way about them. The Aventon is a good bike but the CCX's torque sensor makes a night-and-day difference.

    CrossCurrent S2 - Brake pads

750 miles on my X and still on the original brake pads. I imagine you'll hear them scraping when they're gone.

Juiced Ripcurrent s step through Seatpost clamp

I wanted some theft protection so got a kit from Hexlox that replaces the QR bolt with one of theirs. You can keep the original clamp. I'm sure there parts available to do this without the Hexlox premium if you're not concerned about theft.

    Chainring on RipCurrent S

I have a RipCurrent and my wife has an Aventon Level which doesn't have a torque sensor. HUGE difference, IMO. I would never buy a bike with just a cadence sensor.

    Trying to contact Aventon

I only had one issue (wheel truing). Contacted support via email and they got back to me within 24 hrs. They were great (offered to cover cost of truing at local shop). Then they reimbursed me in short order.

My Level’s spokes - Take Note

The non-drive spokes are supposed to be looser than the drive-side spokes. That's what they call "dishing," which is necessary to center the wheel in the frame. The added width of the transmission gears makes the wheel asymmetrical along the length of the axle. Tightening the spokes on the...

    CCX Seatpost Lock?

Hold on -- you don't need a new clamp! The Hexlox seatpost kit comes with a bolt that replaces the quick release bolt in your existing clamp.

    Hard ride

Any hardtail bike (no rear suspension) is going to deliver some shock through the posterior. A quality suspension seatpost makes a huge difference -- highly recommended. I use a Kinekt, but the less expensive Thudbuster seatposts get good reviews too.

    Aventon Aventure Reviews

Personally I have a strong preference for metal fenders. I have plastic on my bike and their rattling is annoying. Wife's Level has nice, solid, metal fenders that don't talk back.

A Day In The Life of My Aventon Level

You seem to have a hard time staying on the path. Might need some adjustments. :p

    Juiced RipCurrent S Step-Through

Long overdue. Surprised they haven't also introduced it for the CCX, since it seems to share the same frame with the RipCurrent.

    Juiced nonresponse on warranty claim

Seems like other folks have gotten a better response by contacting the sales team rather than the support team.

Juiced Scorpion X review and unboxing

Nice writeup! The packaging for that one is a helluva lot better than the packaging for my CCX which was delivered in March. Maybe because it's a heavier bike, or maybe just because it's a newer model?

First ride report & Low voltage setting for CCX

It's not specific to Juiced -- it's just the nature of lithium batteries. I've seen different figures quoted by manufacturers, but the general idea is that the batteries last longer if you don't charge them all the way to 100% or let them discharge to below around 20%. Juiced recommends 80%...

Thought all you guys who needed a suspension seat post were cats !

I have a Kinekt and they will have to pry it from my cold, dead arse ... or something like that. :) For theft protection I'm using Hexlox. Pretty cool system. The kit I got uses the existing seat clamp but replaces the QR lever/bolt with their theft-resistant bolt.
